Journalist, researcher, Phd at the Postgraduate Program in Integration in Latin America (PROLAM-USP). Master in Communication Sciences at ECA/USP (2005). Between 2003 and 2004 she was President of Piratini Rádio e Televisão Cultural Foundation (FCPR TV-TVE-RS), which sponsors Public TV of Rio Grande do Sul. Living in São Paulo since 1991, she worked in several media vehicles, including Agência Estado, Folha de S. Paulo, Rádio Jovem Pan, Gazeta Mercantil and Valor Econômico. She was executive manager of Rádio MEC – Rio de Janeiro (ACERP/EBC) between May 2007 and December 2011. She is author of a book on the story of Rádio MEC and TVE Brasil, incorporated by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação.
